OLQP (Northern Alberta) History
The Our Lady Queen of Peace Ranch (Northern Alberta) Ltd. opened for their first season of Day Group Programming on July 1st, 2009; serving the full spectrum of children covered in their mandate.
The need to build this second ranch in the Northern Alberta Region was evident to the Ranch Founders as children were traveling from Fort McMurray, Alberta to participate and take advantage of the FREE summer camp experience at the sister ranch located in Bragg Creek, Alberta.
The North Ranch is modeled after the South and plans to match it in both facility quality and heart; with similarities in building structures and programming. However, like any siblings in a family, a sense of individuality is prominent in the North allowing it to stand on its own.
