OLQP North Ranch is comprised of 214 Acres of land set along the North Saskatchewan River. Its' open prairie landscape, lined by forest, gives a truly country feel within Edmonton City Limits.
 
Walton Hall:
As OLQP’s central building on the land, Walton Hall offers seating for 800 and standing room for 1200 complete with a large projections screen, surround sound speakers & microphones for announcements and karaoke!  The building also houses the laundering facilities for all the sleeping gear that is provided for our camping programs and the commercial kitchen is fully equipped to provide all the various culinary delights our various programs provide. 
 
Waterfront: OLQP have lakes that are interconnected by canals so that participants can have a unique tour of the property.  The docks house 7 three man canoes, 1 large fifteen person Viking Canoe, 12 solo kayaks, and 6 two man floating tubes.  In the middle of the large lake there is a floating Aqua Park consisting of a trampoline, launcher and log.
 
Amazing Race Course:  With various initiatives that utilize the natural area and strengthens the mind such as the "Spiders Web" or "Kings & Queens" this is one of the favorite activity areas.
 
Sports Field: Large manicured sports field with two regulation sized soccer fields and baseball diamonds.
 
Teepees:  Weeklong Summer Camp, Weekend Family Camp and our Off-Season Camping program all utilize the thirty 24' traditional teepees that fit up to 12 comfortably.  They have cedar flooring raising the campers off the ground and come with a firepit in the centre for heat and ambiance.
 
Washrooms/Showers:  6 washrooms with showers are located around the camp.  Bathrooms are provate and individually stalled including a toilet, sink and showers and handicap accessibility.  Washrooms are locating in Walton Hall and at the Sports field and are also accessible.
 
Trading Post: This is a large fully accessible building which holds all our new and gently used clothing and housewares.  During our Summer Camp Programming and Annual Children's Chirstmas Programming participating children and families are able to take whatever they want and what ever they need and it is all completely for FREE!  See our donations page to learn how to contribut to this wonderful program.
 
Watering Hole: A designated swimming area with a sandy beach!  The design of the hole makes wading possible through its progressing shoreline yet deep enough to safely have a floating dock with a slide.
 
Wagon Rides: All our wagon rides are tractor drawn and wheelchair accessible
 
Bikes:  15 Mountain Bikes that range from 17" - 19".  These are riden on the property an through the local pathways.
 
Frizbee Golf: Located on the east side of the property, this provides a great team and personal challenge to all our participants.
 
Hiking Trail: Through the natural beauty of the river valley OLQP provides a moderate trail that is perfect for showing the young and old the beauty of our natural environment.
 
Animal Game:  Herbivore run from Carnivore while trying to find water and food stations in this tag game showing the animal food chain in action.
 
Campfire Pit:  A popular addition to the Day Trip Programming is having the participants roast hot dogs and marshmellows.  Although at one time this was a common experience for all young people for many children in today's generation this is a first time experience.  This program area also is used for sing-a-longs and other various programming during Summer camps.
 
Petting Zoo:  Pigs, Sheep, Goat and Chickens get regular visits from our participants in all our various programs.  The animals are provided to OLQP by Chicken John's.
 
Forest/Wildlife: for nature walks and forest games.
