“I have never seen so many stars!” “Have you ever been outside the city?” “No” “Well, it is because in the City there is too much light pollution to see them, that is why camping is so great!”

 

This program is very popular with many of the Agencies that access our programs. Most children and families that access our programming have never been outside the city limits to experience the joys and relaxation camping gives. This program provides Agencies that have been approved through our mandate the facilities and gear to assist in a very memorable adventure for their children and families. AGAIN, this program is provided at NO COST to the Agencies or their children and families that participate.

 

OLQP has 34 Teepees that hold 12 people comfortably along with all their gear. There are 5 Cook Houses that are at your disposal. In each Cook House there is one fully operational wood burning stove, as well we provide each Cook House with a propane BBQ and utensils. Through out the ranch there are also 5 fully functional Shower Houses each with 4 individual 3 piece bathrooms. In addition to the sleeping, showering and cooking facilities we provide each participant with a 4” thick sleeping pad, sleeping bag (-7 to –12 Ratings), liners for the sleeping bags and towels to use while at the Ranch.

 

Along with the camping facilities and gear while at the Ranch the camping group will be able to participate in our various Facilitated and Non-Facilitated activities which will be pre-booked with our booking department when booking the overnight camping trip.
