Day Trip Program

Day Trips

The main focus of our Day Trip Program is to provide an outdoor ranch experience to Agencies that work with children and families that fall under our mandates of physical, mental and financially challenged. This, as with ALL of our programming, is completely FREE of charge to all that qualify to access it.

We facilitate most of our activity areas however with this program Agencies are required to provide supervisors and liaisons from their organization to actively participate in the program with their clients. They are responsible for their clients on all levels while at the Ranch. Our facilities are all built and maintained with all of our friends in mind and are fully accessible.

2010 Day Trip Season Dates

Facilitated Trips: Begin April 1st and Closes October 31st.

Hours of Operation:

April, May, June, September and October: Tuesday to Saturday 8:30am to 4:00pm

July and August: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm

How to access the Day Trip Program

Booking for the 2010 Season begins January 15th, 2010. BEFORE you can book a date you must first print, fill out and send in an Agency Participation Application Form to gain approval to access the Ranches programs.

Facilitated Activities Provided:

Horses (6-18 years only) Tractor Lead Wagon Ride Hiking Animal Game

Low Ropes Course Initiatives Course Lunch Pontoon/Canoes

Self Directed Activities Provided:

Sports Field w/ Supplies Fishing (catch/release) Swimming Playground

During the months of July and August we are happy to announce that we are beginning our Themed Program Packages that Agencies can participate in. The 5 themes are Environment, Virtues, Leadership, Fun and Self worth. Go to the Themed Program Packages link for more information.
